During my recent stay at Vapa Hotel - Sha Extra Plus in the heart of Phuket Old Town, I was delighted by the blend of modern comfort and historical charm that envelops this beautifully-appointed hotel. The location is truly impeccable; just a short walk away from the vibrant streets teeming with shops, eateries, and the must-see Lard Yai Sunday walking street market. The hotel features 114 elegantly appointed rooms, each offering a comforting retreat with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and thoughtful touches like free bottled water. I'm a big fan of convenience, and having free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk made our stay smooth and enjoyable, especially when traveling with my family. One of the highlights was the generous buffet breakfast, served with a wide array of local dishes, which was a delightful start to each day. While some may find the breakfast options limited, we reveled in the flavor and freshness that marked our dining experience. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptionally friendly staff, who were always willing to assist and share insights about the rich culture and hidden gems of Phuket. For anyone looking for an affordable yet comfortable stay, Vapa Hotel provides an excellent blend of convenience and hospitality that I would highly recommend to fellow travelers.
